What is a credit?
Credits are dollar-denominated — $1 of included balance processes roughly one minute of watermarked video. Short operations like thumbnail generation cost a flat $0.50.
Does unused balance roll over?
Yes. Unused balance rolls over to the next month, up to 2x your monthly allocation. For example, a Pro plan can accumulate up to $1,000.
What happens if I run out of balance?
On paid plans, jobs continue to process — overage accrues at the same per-job rates. On the Free plan, jobs are rejected with a 402 error until your balance refreshes at the start of your next billing cycle.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time. You keep access to your plan features until the end of your current billing period, then you are downgraded to the Free plan.
What video formats are supported?
Rendobar supports all major video formats including MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, and more. The FFmpeg backend handles virtually any input format. Output defaults to MP4 (H.264) but is fully configurable.
Is there an API rate limit?
Yes. Each plan has a per-minute API request limit: Free (30/min), Starter (60/min), Pro (120/min), Scale (300/min). Job submission and status polling both count toward this limit.
